Shakib Al Hasan again top of the top number one day international (ODI) cricket.

Bangladeshi former captain Shakib Al Hasan again top of the top number one day international (ODI) cricket. It proud of us as a Bangladeshi.
The latest official ICC rankings had the Magura southpaw 13 points clear of his Australian rival on 415 points.

Apart from the 6-month reign by the Australian, Shakib has enjoyed the top spot since April 2009. His drop to number 2 in the rankings was precipitated by a lean patch at the beginning of the year, while the big-hitting Watson took his spot courtesy of some good form during the Australian summer as well as a decent World Cup and a red-hot ODI series in Bangladesh in April.
Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has reclaimed his number 1 ODI all-rounder's spot after having surrendered pole position to Australia all-rounder Shane Watson earlier this year in April.
“Such achievements always inspire me to keep performing well,” said Shakib. “This time I will try to hold on to my position for longer.”
In the ODI bowling rankings, Shakib is currently in joint 9th position, but the left-arm spinner said that he believes he can reach the top of that table too.
“I believe that it is possible to achieve the feat of becoming the number 1 ODI bowler if I can continue performing,” he added.
Shakib's rise owes much to his strong showing during the recent 3-match ODI series against West Indies earlier this month, during which he scored 79 runs at 79, including an unbeaten 67 in the first ODI, and took 6 wickets in three matches at 16. His wickets haul included a man-of-the-match performance in the 3rd ODI in Chittagong, where he took a career-best 4 for 16 to condemn the visitors to a crushing defeat.

  1. I'm not sure exactly why but this website is loading very slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue on my end? I'll check back later and see if the problem still exists.
